I'm just an average joe with very simple aspirations. First impression is usually just an illusion... Work smart; Play hard. Freedom is priceless but to achieve freedom, the price to pay is high.

Small world

Lately I've been meeting people whom I've had not met for many years on the streets or at some very unforeseen places. Everybody's response was somewhat the same like "Oh my god! Ah pang! What happened to you? You looked like you've lost lotsa weight!" I will give the usual puzzled look "Oh have I?"
Yesterday I went for a long awaited swim at Safra Tampines and met Rocky my BMT platoon mate in Tekong. I was heading to the life guard room to get some 20 cents change and this guy came out and said, "Sorry we've ran out of 20 cents." And he started scrutinizing me up and down and focus on the tiger tatoo on my right arm and said "Tiger Pang!(that's what people used to call me in BMT then) What the hell are you doing here? You ho seh boh?!...." and stuffs like that... He was a part time life guard there...
Prior to that I saw Ashwin my poly classmate, riding a bicycle down the pedestrian lane... He was kinda far away for me to even say "Hi"
Next up went to meet Caleb in Bugis. I saw Weijie the Canon promoter which was kinda a usual regular there but I saw Man Ho Ki as well... That cranky fellow who never fails to pull stunts during my days in Delta Coy, 30 SCE.
After our usual KOF games, me and Caleb head down for some desserts and drinks. We talked for almost the whole night about his personal stuffs that I shall not disclose for this journal is not totally password protected. We had a drink or 2 and head home after that... He had many thoughts in his mind yet to be cleared but it will take some time...
Back then in secondary school, we share common interests in games and hobbies. Right now, both of us had something new that bonds us together... Chicks and more chicks... Cheers to the evolution of heart-broken boys to nonchalent men...
Saw Elaine and Cara while working at my booth at Airport T1. Elaine and Cara are Jessie's friends. They called me from the back but it took me quite sometime to recognise them and recall their names. LOL. Can't be helped, just acquaintances...
Its a small world after all... its a small small world...
