A thin line

Recently I noticed a thin fine line between work and social life. Yea you get up from bed feelin' stoned yet anxious kickin' off the whole new routine which begins for the new day and the cycle continues till your off day. In between you've got friends or chicks callin' you out for a meal or chill out... its always these few activities. I wanna play some sports but can't find adequate time. Yea after work where fatigue level always get the better of me... I could only agree to chill out or a meal or a drink.
This weekend we've got another Viera chick in the house... well not as erm... impressive as J. Alba, but I'm keepin' my distance, lest people might gossip. Even so I've got comments like "Hey Sky! Hey Pang! Didn't you get to know her? Didn't you ask for her age? Hey what does she likes huh? Eh why didn't you go talk to her?" I just rolled my eyes and said "There's been speculations that I can't perform when I do some public relations with models like these girls, and I've been trying to keep my farkin' distance.... so what now? Gettin' me back to action? Or should I say letting them have their way with me like always? Hell no for this week man. I value sales more than anything else at work and erm... not worth my time... I don't spend too much time on something which doesn't guarantees me results.
Yesterday after work... yea it was a Saturday night where Ah Qui and Jessie never fails to ask me out to meet them... for usual chill or meal. Very mundane meet-up routine. Waikian was there as well. Yea sorry guys, was caught up with a customer and ended up late. Got Elgene to come to meet me from Changi Airport after he sees Carol off... Since Ah Qui gotta leave by 11.30pm and its been ages since I catch up with with Elgene who's still in the suck.
Me and Elgene wwnt to Timbre Substation after we parted with the rest. We need some rock tunes with booze and catchin' up to do. Sadly its not the "Goodfellas" playin' in the house, its some kinda 'don't-know-what and friends' band which isn't really our cuppa tea.
Asked me about work and my sales, said that it was smooth sailing except for lotsa politics and green-eyes goin' on. Well what's new? I don't give a flying fark though some might appear to be intriguing. Elgene told me in sales this is normal, just ignore people's comments and do my job. My sentiments exactly. If they're lazy and try saying things like "Hey c'mon, don't be so gungho... are you really that hungry?" or "Hey relax la brother, they day is still young, why so aggressive?", don't be bothered and be pressured. Well, I know that and Elgene's been reinforcing what I thought. I need the money, and earning this kinda keep might been quite rewarding for people like me(without high academic education level), so just keep it up....

Today at work was almost a close shave, thought I gonna take home "Ice cream", but at the verge of ending work, I've got 2 fishes in my net. Phew... thank God. Was thinking of booze or gaming after work before I head home... on 2nd thoughts, just save the money and head home for some music and rest...
The future's hard for us to predict, but if you're willing to do something about it to alter its course, you'll be heading the right direction ahead and you'll be unstoppable.
